Refund Policy

At Playdate, we understand that plans change. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds of match bookings.

2. Cancellation Windows

Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel your booking:

  • More than 24 hours before: Full refund (100%)
  • 12-24 hours before: Partial refund (50%)
  • Less than 12 hours before: No refund

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Open the Playdate app
  2. Navigate to "My Bookings"
  3. Select the booking you wish to cancel
  4. Tap "Cancel Booking"
  5. Confirm your cancellation

Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

4. Match Cancellations by Organizer

If a match is canceled by the organizer or due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., venue closure, extreme weather):

  • You will receive a full refund (100%)
  • Refunds are processed automatically within 3-5 business days
  • You will be notified via app and email

5. No-Show Policy

If you fail to show up for a booked match without prior cancellation:

  • No refund will be provided
  • Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension
  • Please cancel in advance if you cannot attend

6. Disputes and Special Circumstances

For special circumstances or disputes regarding refunds, please contact our support team. We will review each case individually and may grant exceptions at our discretion.
